‘I had just hand-shipped most of the invitations and Elvira and [her husband and business partner] Jim known as me and said, “Can you do us a significant favor and give us $10,000? The bar mitzvah was however 12 weeks away at the time, but courtroom filings viewed by Web page Six alleged that Granito was ‘pressured’ to quickly observe the funds because the Grau’s were being ‘broke.’
