Gov. Gretchen Whitmer blasts Trump over Michigan ‘lock her up’ chant

The feud in between President Trump and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer heated up once more Saturday evening following attendees at a Trump rally in her property point out chanted “Lock her up!” and the president instructed the crowd, “lock ’em all up.”

“It needs to prevent,” the governor — who was the goal of an abduction plot foiled by the FBI past week — wrote on Twitter.

Whitmer’s remarks on Saturday echoed all those she built about the president previous Thursday immediately after authorities introduced the arrests of 13 militia customers who had allegedly prepared to kidnap her as portion of a scheme that also concerned storming the state Capitol and sparking a second American civil war.

The governor slammed then what she explained was Trump’s refusal to condemn white supremacy and extremism in the U.S.

Right after news of the kidnap plot broke, Trump likened Whitmer to “a dictator,” telling Fox Organization Information that “people just can’t stand her” because of her tough coronavirus lockdown constraints.
