Photo of tiger earns shutterbug ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’

A photo of a Russian tiger as stunning as it is rare has gained the shutterbug behind the lens the coveted “Wildlife Photographer of Year” award.

The prized graphic depicts a Siberian tiger hugging a tree in the Land of the Leopard Nationwide Park in Russia’s Far East.

With their prey severely diminished, the near-extinct tigers should canvass wide regions to hunt, producing sightings incredibly exceptional. To safe the successful shot, photographer Sergey Gorshkov stationed a digicam in the forest for 10 months — and the effects are beautiful.

“With the blend of skill, seem and months of persistence, photographer Sergey Gorshkov managed to seize this,” Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton stated even though asserting the winner on behalf of London’s Purely natural Heritage Museum this 7 days. “While the judges claimed it appears to be like like an oil-painting, it is a photograph of an endangered feminine Amur tiger.”
