Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont signed an executive get Tuesday night time allowing for new fines for people who violate mask and social distancing orders.

The buy goes into impact at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, September 18.

Gov. Lamont mentioned the new implementation would give metropolitan areas and towns additional leverage when men and women are breaking the procedures.

Fines will be provided by regulation enforcement and area community wellness officers.
