Sean Connery, Scottish actor who played James Bond in 7 movies, dead at 90: report

Sean Connery, the very-embellished actor who skyrocketed to fame for his legendary job as James Bond, has reportedly died. He was 90.

The Scottish actor’s dying was verified by his relatives, BBC described Saturday. The report states he died right away in his slumber while in the Bahamas.

Connery was an global star, obtaining earned an Academy Award, multiple Golden Globes, which include the Cecil B. DeMille and Henrietta Awards, as nicely as two  British Academy Movie Awards (BAFTA) awards.

Just one of his most unforgettable roles was as the first actor to deal with the character of James Bond, commencing with 1962’s “Dr. No.” His other noteworthy films include things like “The Untouchables,” “The Rock” and “Murder on the Orient Specific.”

Connery’s other films provided “Indiana Jones and the Previous Campaign,” “The Hunt for Pink Oct,” and “The Rock.”

Reps for the actor did not quickly respond to Fox News’ request for remark.
