A male who tried to rip a substantial cross from the roof of an east London church has been arrested by law enforcement.
Footage posted on social media seems to demonstrate a male continuously hoping to pull a wooden cross from its foundation above the entrance to Chadwell Heath Baptist Church in Romford.
With the hood of a coat placed around the cross the person can be noticed using all his power to release the cross from the roof of the church.

The Metropolitan Police said it was named to the church on Higher Street at 2.40pm on Sunday and arrested a person at the scene on suspicion of criminal problems.
A spokesman for the force stated the cross was recovered and the person continues to be in law enforcement custody.
Chadwell Heath Baptist Church has been contacted for remark.
The person is viewed continuously pushing his bodyweight down on the cross in the endeavor to loosen it from the base
